Montelobos

After analyzing the visual identity of "Montelobos mezcal” and conducting a field investigation into the message of the previous logo, we proposed a new design. On it, the same isotope contains a mountain (monte in Spanish) and a wolf (lobo in Spanish).

For the logo it was important to keep the wolf as the main image. Nevertheless, the decision was to make it lighter and more serene. By using the visual effect of figure and background, a mountain was created with the body of the wolf, representing the two elements of the name of the mezcal.

For the secondary logo, we designed a simple and abstract shape built with the letters M and L for the name of the mezcal "MonteLobos". This star was created by the M´s and the mountains inside were created by the L. It was also influenced by the Mexican culture patterns and graphics, with the aim of giving it more strength and including it in the visual identity.
