UNDERGROUND SUSHI
This logo was designed for a "dark kitchen", a sushi restaurant in Mexico City that only works through home deliveries. For that reason, we created a simple and mysterious logo, that, with the red circle, hints at the underground subway and Japanese culture at the same time.
The red circle is the main character in the logo. It is not only a color accent, but also an abstract representation of the concept of "underground" that the client wanted us to show, as well as the reference to the Japanese flag.
TYPOGRAPHY
For this logotype we choose 2 typographies: the first one, built around the "Underground" concept, has a simpler, minimalist and common look with some character spacing that gives the word more air and makes it easier to read; and the second one, for the word "sushi", represents the Japanese culture. This allowed the logo to enjoy a beautiful harmony and balance.
